I have reviewed some expensive courses over time and the Profit League by Jeff and Jessica Samis is the latest.
But before I get to the price lets talk about what the course teaches.
You will learn how to generate leads in order to market to local small businesses.
And their favorite way to do is is through Facebook marketing.
This is not a new business model but one that can be lucrative if you know what your doing.
Getting back to the course and its cost some are wondering if it is just a scam or legit?
Hence I decided to do a review to see what its about.
Who Are Jeff & Jessica Samis
Although you may not have heard of these two they have been in the internet marketing game for some time.
They have also been involved with some mlm companies as well.
But now they have turned their skills to the local lead generation business model.
Because the claim is that its easier to do local marketing and because their is less competition.
Yes this true.
But its not quite as easy as many of these gurus make it out to be.

What Are The Details Of The Profit League Course
For starters their course is geared around using Facebook Ads as a way to generate leads for your local business customers.
Facebook is a powerful advertising medium and they offer a way for marketers to really zero in on specific potential customers.
Not only that but an advertising campaign can be set up relatively quickly if you know what your doing.
And that is the goal of Jessica and Jeff Samis with their Profit League course.
Things that you will learn include:
- How to get your traffic to convert
- Getting traffic to your landing pages
- Tools to use that they have success with themselves
- Designing and writing ads that attract visitors
- Specifics on how to set up Facebook Ads
What Is The Pricing and Overall Cost
Well if you have read this far your probably interested in knowing the cost of the Profit League training.
It is $3,999!
Yes were talking thousands of dollars for this course.
This course is not the the most expensive I have reviewed but its also not the cheapest.
You also have to realize that just purchasing this course is the beginning of your expenses.
Because one of their tools that they recommend is going to be ClickFunnels.
ClickFunnels is a good software for creating sales funnels but it has a monthly cost that ranges from $97 to $297 per month.
Then you will need a budget to start running Facebook Ads.
So at minimum this would run an additional $200 per month to get started.
As you can see the costs can add up fairly quickly with not only the price of the course but the monthly fees for advertising and software needed to be successful with the business.

Are There Any Complaints
After doing a search with the BBB and quick look through Google I didn’t find any Profit League complaints about the actual training.
So I guess that is a good thing.
Most of the complaints that I ran across had to do with the fact that many of the people that were interested in the course thought it was too expensive.
Refund & Return Policy
Before jumping in and spending $1000’s on any training course its a good idea to see what they have for a refund policy in case you don’t like what you see.
In this case the policy is blunt:
All sales are final and no refunds will be afforded and you waive any rights to charge-back your purchase with your credit card processor.
They are pretty strict with their refund policy so don’t expect to get your money back once you make the purchase.
The Profit League Training Pros & Cons
After looking at was being offered with this course I decided to break down the good points and bad points for those looking for help in making a decision whether or not to buy this.
Pros ( the good stuff )
- Learn Facebook marketing
- Local marketing is less competitive
- Legitimate business model
Cons ( the not so good stuff )
- The cost of course
- No guarantee you will be successful with the ads
- Large monthly budget needed to see results
- No returns
Things To Consider
We know that this is a legitimate business model and there are a lot of marketers that have been making good money catering to their local market.
Small businesses don’t have the time to spend themselves advertising.
This opens the door to make some money and start a business of your own.
But you will need some skills such as the ability to break the ice and get your foot in the door to talk with the owners of companies.
Plus you need to have a tolerance for risk because your going to lose money before you make any.
There is no one formula fits all template that’s going to get you profitable overnight.
So even if you had the money to buy The Profit League training don’t expect it to make you successful without being able to adapt to the ever changing world of marketing.
Trends come and go and what might be working now may not work in the future.
Plus the costs of advertising just keep increasing cutting into the profits.
You do have alternatives though which I will mention in the conclusion.
Facebook Ads are a powerful advertising method if you want to reach a segment of the population interested in what your offering.
Jeff and Jessica Samis have had success with using Facebook just for this purpose and now want to show others how to do it as well with their Profit League training course.
The good news is that this is a legitimate course and not a scam.
The bad news is that you will pay an are and a leg in order to become a member and learn the steps needed to get started with local lead generation.
Are there any better alternatives?
Sure there are.
For starters you could purchase a course that teaches how to run targeted Facebook Ads for a fraction of the cost of what you would be paying for Profit League.
From there all you need is some landing page software which can be had for much less than ClickFunnels.
Finally learn some SEO so that you can learn how to take advantage of free traffic from the search engines which will only increase your profits.
Its not as hard as you may think and you will save a ton of money in the process!
