What is the Isagenix business and can this MLM make you money? If your looking to get started with your own business, you may have come across this company. They promote health and nutrition products that some say are a scam. My review will go over the company and whats its about. The pros and cons as well the the income potential of this opportunity.
Can the Isagenix system really be the opportunity that puts money in your pocket as an associate?
Let’s get started….
Who Is Isagenix International
The company was started in 2002 by John Anderson as well as Jim and Kathy Coover. The corporate headquarters is located in Arizona.
The group had a vision of bringing health and nutrition to the masses by way of MLM. They came out of retirement to accomplish their goals.
John Anderson being the guy that knew how to put the products together and form the Isagenix System. While Jim and Kathy Coover both having experience with multi-level marketing companies, brought the vision of what could be accomplished.
Isagenix Review – Products
The company has a large selection of products in the health and wellness categories. There is even a something called Isaproduct that gives you all the information needed about the different ways to take advantage and use the products.
Main categories include:
- Weight Loss
- Healthy Aging
The company offers some interesting ways to keep customers and associates involved with the products.
They have coaching calls, but unlike other MLM’s the coach for the Isagenix system products is a nutritionist. This gives them an advantage over some of the other health and nutrition companies.
Product and video coaching as well. Throw in a newsletter, business website, tools website and other assorted help aids and the Isagenix associate should be able to get started selling the companies products full throttle.
How To Join Isagenix
To start selling join as an associate which is an entry level rank and there are 5 of them that can be achieved. To become an associate will only cost you $39.
This is pretty reasonable considering there are a lot of MLM companies that make money on sign up fees.
Many prospects probably start out using the products then decide to earn an income as well. Nothing wrong with that. If your jumping in the opportunity to just make money, your doing it for the wrong reasons.
Isagenix Compensation Plan
The compensation plan is extensive, so I will break it down in an easy to understand outline. There are many different ways to earn including:
- Retail Sales
- Product Bonuses
- Team Bonuses
Retail sales can be done through your own associate website. As with most multi-level marketing companies your bread and butter is going to come from recruiting others and building a downline to exponentially grow your sales.
Bonuses are dependent on what rank you are, and there are five of them:
Isagenix Business Tools
Growing your Isagenix business is accomplished with a variety of tools the company provides. When looking at any opportunity it is important to look at what sales aids are available to help the consultants grow their business.
Here is a list of what is available:
- Sales Literature
- Social Media Library
- Mobile Apps
There is a lot to learn and Isagenix provides different training. They even have their own online university. This is an important aspect especially for those new to the mlm business model.
Many of the multi-level marketing companies make it look easy with their compensation plans. Different levels and different ranks, bonuses around every corner give the new prospects an unrealistic view of the work needed to generate an income.
Some of the training includes:
- The right way to sell the company and its products
- The right Isagenix System
- The vision
- The compensation plan
- Building a list
Some of the training can be accessed through the Isagenix Back Office.
Running your business can be done through the Isagenix Back Office. Here there is a number of rhings that can be done to grow and learn.
Some of the benefits include:
- Enter Referrals
- View Price Lists
- View Sales
- Register For Events
- Access To Your Website
Looking over the Isagenix income disclosure, reveals what the associates are making financially selling the companies products.
The largest group of course, 83% of them are the members that are just there to use the products and get a discount. Then you have 11 1/2% that are attempting to sell products, but don’t actually generate much income at all.
The majority of the sales come from just 5.2% of the associates. With that said, only the top 2% actually make enough to live on.
Hopefully my Isagenix review has given you some insight into the company and its products. Health and nutrition is a big category in the multi-level marketing world.
Dipping your toe in the world of multi-level marketing isn’t going to help those people looking to earn an income as an associate of any company. As shown above in the income disclosure, Isagenix associates for the most part are just customers of the company.
Also. whether the products perform as advertised is always going to be controversial. Some people are going to claim benefits while others won’t see any gains from using them.
Is Isagenix a scam? In my opinion no.
Big company, with lots of associates. It’s not easy making money in multi-level marketing!
If selling vitamins and supplements are not your thing, then there are other alternatives to making money online and being successful.
